As part of Bitcoin.me&rsquo;s transition to its new Decentralized Exchange (DEX), the Trading service on the Legacy Exchange will be discontinued on December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. (BRT).
<h2 dir="ltr">What Happens Next</h2>
All open orders will be automatically canceled, and corresponding funds will be returned to user accounts on the Legacy Exchange.
During the transition period, the Bitcoin.me main site will be unavailable for approximately five hours; however, the <a href="http://legacy.bitcoin.me/">Legacy Exchange</a> (<a href="http://legacy.bitcoin.me/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://legacy.bitcoin.me/</a>) will remain accessible for balance review and withdrawals. Once the transition is complete, the new Bitcoin.me DEX will go live.
<h2 dir="ltr">Withdrawals Window</h2>
Withdrawals on the Legacy Exchange will remain open for six months following this update, ensuring users have ample time to move their assets securely. After that period, the Legacy Exchange will be fully decommissioned.
