This Privacy Policy explains how Bitcoin.me ("Bitcoin.me," "we," "us," or "our") handles information collected through our decentralized application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). As a decentralized platform, we operate with no collection and processing of personal data.

1. Decentralized Nature and Non-Custodial Operation

A. Non-Custodial

Bitcoin.me is non-custodial. We do not hold, control, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or cryptocurrency funds. All transactions are executed directly on the underlying Klever blockchain network.

B. Smart Contracts

The core functionality of the Service is governed by open-source smart contracts deployed on a public blockchain. These smart contracts automatically and transparently execute trades, liquidity provision, and other functions as programmed. We do not have control over the data recorded on the blockchain, as it is immutable and publicly accessible by design.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Due to our decentralized nature, we do not collect, store, or process traditional personal identifying information (PII) such as: - Names - Email addresses - Phone numbers - Physical addresses - Government-issued identification (e.g., social security numbers, passports)

3. Information We May Collect

A. Blockchain Data

When you use the Service, your interactions, such as transactions, wallet addresses, and gas fees, are recorded on the public blockchain. This information is publicly visible, permanent, and outside of our control. We may interact with or reference this public data for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., displaying your trade history). When you connect your non-custodial blockchain wallet to the Services, we collect and log your publicly-available blockchain address to learn more about your use of the Services and to screen your wallet for any prior illicit activity. We screen your wallet using intelligence provided by leading blockchain analytics providers. Note that blockchain addresses are publicly-available data that are not created or assigned by us or any central party, and by themselves are not personally identifying.

B. Usage Data

We may collect non-personal, aggregated usage data about how the Service is accessed and used. This Usage Data may include information such as: - Browser type and version - Operating system - Time and date of access - Pages visited - Referral sources This data is used to monitor and analyze the use of the Service, improve functionality, and maintain security. This data does not personally identify you. We may receive information about your wallet address or transactions made through the Services from our service providers in order to comply with our legal obligations and prevent the use of our Services in connection with fraudulent or other illicit activities.

A. Public Blockchain

All information published on the blockchain is inherently public and can be accessed by anyone at https://kleverscan.org/. By engaging in transactions on the DEX, you acknowledge and accept this public nature.

B. Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Usage Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

The security of your funds is ensured by the decentralized nature of the Service; we never have custody of your assets. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect the limited Usage Data we collect, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
